  1. Dr. Sarah Epplin, Co-Chair of the Federal Committee, has also shared the following information on a webinar that may be helpful in thinking about how we navigate services for students:

A webinar featuring Laurie VanderPloeg from OSEP was sponsored by CCSSO, CASE, and NASDSE. OSERS has developed a document, "Questions and Answers on Providing Services to Children with Disabilities during a COVID-19 Outbreak." Here is the link:
    https://sites.ed.gov/idea/files/qa-covid-19-03-12-2020.pdf

Ms. VanderPloeg also shared during the webinar that OSEP is going to take some time to develop a resource focusing on the unintended consequences of extended time away from school. OSEP is planning to provide some flexibility in timelines. They will let us know the details later in a document.

The webinar also directed listeners to the follow links: www.ed.gov/coronavirus?src=feature and ccsso.org/coronavirus.

The webinar was recorded and a link will be made available soon.
